IT PISSES ME OFF WHEN

smart as people and other random people get depressed and scream when they get merits. When they do this I feel that they are putting people down. For example, me. I was really happy today when I got a result which included 3 merits. But later on someone just ruins it by talking about how they're pissed cuz they got 2 exs and 1 merit. WELL TOO BAD! For the people around you who get lower, it really puts us down. Honestly it'd be okay if you said it was not up to your expectations but SAYING IT IS A FREAKING FAIL just makes me pissed DX

Trick or Treat

Today is Halloween (obviously) and I am not going trick or treating, but I don't want October to end. November is going to be the most stressful month of the year. In total I have 8 exams. I have about 4 tests this week and one exam. 6 exams next week and one more the week after that. T.T

YAY LAPTOP YAY!

Today I received my laptop back, that would probably be the highlight of my week if it weren't for my cousin coming from Australia. She's leaving tomorrow :( so I probably won't see her for at least months, maybe years >.< , oh well :(, also this week everyone has teachers going on strike except my school (and other private schools) which sucks but oh well, at least we have no assemblies :P.
Next week I'm moving houses. ( hopefully after the paramore t-shirt gets mailed to me XD)

Unwind

Today I finished the book Unwind by Neal  Shusterman. It was one of the best books I have ever read. There are no words to describe it, it was just really really good, it's also really cleverly written. And you know how some books are really good until the end which is a let down? Well the ending suited the book really well!!! I recommend to EVERYONE!! (if your above the age of 12)

Right now I'm feeling happy and slightly sleepy, today my cousin came from Australia, this is her first time visiting in 3 years!

Heyy...I haven't posted lately so Vicky nagged me to post...so I thought I'd write about...SCHOOL..Was a good day (Friday!). Actually thats all I've got to say.
Oh and I ate instant noodles for the first time in about a year...? Yea

Auckland weather hits...again...T.T

I was expecting today to be pretty warm but when I woke up it, look really dreary, the radio said that it would clear up so I thought I would wear my summer uniform. Worst. Mistake. Ever. I was freezing the whole day and the wind was FREEZING.
Yeah, so thats my first day of school, all I can think about is how cold it was...

YAY!

Today I tried out my new contacts. Oh my gosh are they hard to put in and it feels weird, its like this cold hard thing bugging your eye. And I couldn't help but BLINK! Which made it so much harder, the first time I tried it took 10 minutes for one eye and the other was even harder. But I ended up being able to put the contacts in within two tries XD.
I then went to get lunch while my sister and dad did something at 277 because they already ate. When I went to look for them I found them in a watch shop BUYING ME A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PRESENT. Well, it wasn't a surprise anymore and I have a new watch!

Different Today

Hey,
Today I spent my time at a friends house, he has a ps3 and we spent the whole day playing car games and on his IPAD!! We then went to a reeeeeaaaaaallly expensive restaurant, (entree=$26).
Today was different from the rest of the holiday (home doing nothing).

Grand-parents

I love my grandparents and I may be weird saying this, but I was really happy when my grand parents came back from America today. I went to their house with all my cousins and we played all day. My grandparents brought gifts and I learnt more bits of an asian dialect. Plus I got a SPIDER!!

Rainbow's End

Today I went to Rainbow's end with my family.
It is SOO expensive. $35 for one CHILD.
We went to every single ride except the power surge. We bought a bucket of cotton candy and refilled it twice. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS EVER! That is, for this holiday.

Eye Check

Today I went to have an eye check, this is probably nothing to blog about but..THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER HAD A PICTURE TAKEN OF MY RETINA!
It was really interesting. Afterwards the optometrist showed me a picture of my retinas, they were a mirror image of each other. They looked kind of scary but didn't look like it came from the back of my eye, afterwards I got to see my sisters pictures, she blinked in them ^^

Avatar: The Last Airbender

I will be throwing away any dignity I had before with this post...
I feel like such a geek but...I have seen the whole series of Avatar The Legend of Aang more than once and I hate to say...the movie SUCKED.

For starters the plot may have followed what is was meant to follow, but to do this the movie was so rushed, nothing quite tied itself together. Plus the movie cut out all my favourite bits and nothing was alike. For example, at the beginning, Sokka was the one to break the ice and find the a sphere, not Katara.
Also they skipped major parts like Aang trying fire bending and Katara learning about her healing powers and they do not meet the Kyoshi warriors.

One of the things that bothered me the most was how names were pronounced. this spoiled it right fromt he beginning, there was one of those things where there are words on the screen and someone is talking like Star wars. I thought it was fine....till someone said arvatar like they were some esol person. And Aang was pronounced ung, which pissed me off everytime someone said his name and Sokka was pronounced sooooka.

Another thing that annoyed me was the bending. When people nature bended (earth, fire, air, water) they had to do a little...no...long as dance to get a drop of water to move. Sometimes nothing happened.

The characters were....kind of below average. In where places someone was meant to yell they'd mutter under their breath and everyone was wayyyy to serious. The only remotely funny part was at the beginning the rest was all serious.

Also nothing much is said about Aangs past lives we see their statues but Roku doesn't appear at all.

The ending made me cry inside because it was kind of like twilight, there was a promise of a fight, but nothing happened in the series a major battle and some serious magical action occurs but in the movie Aang does almost nothing.

What was most dissapointing to me was how little momo and Appa have in it and how ugly they were. Also NO GYRO BALLING!!(or scooter)

The lack of stuff will make it really hard to make move no.2 and because Sozins comet last 4episodes it will be even harder for them to make movie no.3

Worst of all, I know I'm going to be watching the next one.

Ooooh and there was no jet.

But this post doesn't apply to people who have no idea what I'm talking about because they haven't seen the series.
